If when you get to the polls they are out of official ballots, you CAN vote on a photocopy of the ballot. Really.
You don’t lose the right to vote just because of a shortage of ballots.
You should ASK the poll worker to be allowed to vote on a ballot photocopy and place it in the auxiliary bin. It will be counted later, but it will count.
